The Environmental Preservation Campaign

Shinshuren is now promoting an environmental preservation campaign through its divisions and branches. With a theme of " Now we will share our lives and spirits-for the future of the earth" Shinshuren advocates "being contented while desiring little" as an important value based religious life.

We have developed a campaign of "Clean, Green and Recycling." That is, clean the streets and parks, to plant trees and to promote recycling.

Nature education is the most important part of the environmental preservation campaign. It is a kind of education for creating a new relationship between human beings and nature. It is based on a central awareness by every participant that it is a nature education for indoors and outdoors, anytime, anywhere and for everyone.

Divisions and branches are developing activities or recycling and planting trees developing on local conditions.
